We are just 10 days away from the 2026 March on Washington. On August 28, we return to Washington, D.C. not simply to remember history, but to make history!

Delta Sigma Theta is anchored in a legacy of civic engagement and advocacy that spans more than a century. Our connection to the March on Washington reflects that enduring commitment. In 1963, Deltas helped organize the March, participated in the program, and stood among the thousands who gathered in Washington, D.C., to advocate for civil and human rights.

It is now our time yet again to answer the call and join the march for justice and equity. Every soror is invited to participate!

Delta Sigma Theta is proud to join the other Divine Nine organizations in launching
, a unified campaign in support of King100.

The Divine Nine is the first organizational partner to publicly launch King100, The King Center’s historic campaign honoring the 100th birthday of Coretta Scott King in 2027 and the 100th birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in 2029, while investing in the future of their work.

Honor Mrs. King and Dr. King, both members of the D9, with a symbolic gift of $19.30 in recognition of the National Pan-Hellenic Council’s founding in 1930. Together, we aim to mobilize at least 130,000 donors and raise more than $2.5 million for The King Center, demonstrating the collective power of the
Divine Nine.

Sorors, we are on day three of the Southern Regional Conference!

Regional Director Amaris Johnson and Regional Representative Noel Seymour have served the Dynamic Southern Region with poise, vision, and grace. Their fearless leadership has left a lasting impression on the Southern Region.

Their impact and love for this region is evident as we look back at the work accomplished over the last biennium. Job well done Soror Johnson and Soror Seymour! And the legacy continues as we celebrate 100 Years of excellence in the Southern Region.

For stop five on our 2026 Regional Conference Cycle, we have arrived in Atlanta, Georgia for the DYNAMIC 50th Southern Regional Conference!

Over 8,000 sorors from Alabama, The Bahamas, Florida, and Georgia, Mississippi and Tennessee are registered to convene for this week’s conference.

We are ready to kick off an action-packed week of activities and events, because the South has spoken and we are here to celebrate 100 years of HERstory in the “A”!
