Some Sidwell Summer traditions are timeless classics, like splashing through water play in front of Zartman House, tie-dye day, or dancing with your camp besties at the Glo Party during Out of This World week. Others are new favorites, like Polaroid Fridays for our Tinker Tots and our end-of-summer Carnival Days for all of our in-house programs! 🎪💦

Sidwell Summer Camp spirit never changes; it just gets better every year. ❤️

Today, we’re thinking about our incredible staff who made every day at Sidwell Summer an unforgettable one! ☀️💙

Whether they were volunteering for the dunk tank at Carnival Day, or dressing up as their campers’ favorite superhero on a 90-degree day, our devoted counselors always brought their A-game! 💪

Sidwell Summer isn’t just for young campers—it’s where tweens and preteens push their limits, build confidence, and gear up for the real world. 🌐

Whether sharpening math skills, learning to think like a lawyer, or mastering leadership through our CIT program, Sidwell Summer provides the community, tools, hands-on experience, and confidence young adults need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.

Happy Monday! 🌞

How are you planning on spending these last weeks of summer? 🏖️

Camp wrapped up almost a month ago, but summer 2026 isn’t over yet! We’ve still got 15 days left! ☀️

We hope everyone is making the most of this beautiful weather while it lasts (and politely asking any random pop-up thunderstorms to kindly stay out of the forecast) 😂🤞

10 awesome weeks, 10 awesome themes! 🌞

Weekly themes help our campers and staff celebrate summer in ways they never have before! Some weeks call for face paint, others call for inflatable suits 😂. But every week is packed with that Sidwell Summer spirit you can’t find anywhere else!

It’s not a goodbye, it’s a SEA ya later! 😂⛵️🌊

Our Sidwell Summer theme for the final week was Summer Sail Away—and in true Sidwell Summer fashion, we wrapped up our last morning carpool the exact same way we started 10 weeks ago: with laughs, love, and the magic that makes us a one of a kind place! ❤️

Counting down the days... next week is officially our final week of camp! 🥹✨

It feels unreal that a week from now, we’ll be saying our goodbyes until next summer. Watching our campers step out of their comfort zones, try new things, perfect old ones, and supporting each other every step of the way was the best part of our season.

We’ve laughed, learned, and grown so much together. To our incredible campers, families, and Sidwell Summer team: thank you for making this summer so unforgettable. ♥️
