🍿 POPCORN CLUB STARTS THIS WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 2! 🍿

It’s finally here! Our students will get to enjoy yummy, fresh-popped popcorn this Wednesday!

We are looking for extra hands to help pop and deliver popcorn this Wednesday morning, September 2, from 8:45 AM – 10:30 AM.

Join us Saturday, September 26 from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM for a day of autumn fun, local vendors, and seasonal treats! 🍎🍁

📣 VENDOR & VOLUNTEER INFORMATION 🛍️🍂
Want to participate? Here’s the breakdown:
-🛒 Standard Vendors:
Registration: FREE! In lieu of a registration fee, please donate a product bundle ($10 value).

-👦 Kid Entrepreneurs: Encouraged to sign up!
Fee/Donation: Completely exempt from the product donation requirement.

-🏷️ Rummage Sale Tables (NEW THIS YEAR!)
Ready to pass along items you no longer need? Grab a spot!
Fee/Donation: FREE registration, no donation required.

The annual Turkey Trot is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and it’s time to start planning! 🏃‍♀️💨

🗓️ When: Monday, August 17 8:30 - 9:30 am (Right after drop-off!)

📍 Where: Outdoor Learning Space

💡 Why: Help brainstorm ideas and make this year's event amazing!

Thanks to past Turkey Trots, we’ve been able to add bike racks, outdoor seating, and more to our campus. 🚲✨ Whether you have event-planning experience or just an hour to spare, every volunteer counts!

Thank you to everyone who packed the room for our first PTO meeting of the school year!

Because of your early support with Popcorn Club signups and the Ice Cream Social, we were able to deliver on a big teacher request in less than 24 hours: restocking their staff room with everyday snacks to keep them energized for our kids. 🍿🍦

This is just one of the many ways the PTO supports LEARN DC teachers all year round—not just during Teacher Appreciation Week!

To keep these efforts going, we're always looking for parents and family members to join us. You can make an impact by:

🍦 Volunteering an hour to hand out popsicles on Popsicle Friday

📚 Serve in the mobile library on designated library days

🍿 Making a donation to keep the teacher snack room stocked all year

No matter how much time or support you can give, we’d love to have you on team PTO this year!

For just $10 per student for the entire school year, your child will receive popcorn on the first Wednesday of every month, beginning September 2, 2026.

How to sign up:
- Scan QR code in the attached image, or;
