Climate change is impacting sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) with mounting challenges including drought, flooding, and extreme heat. With scant available information about how SSA communities perceive and react to diminished ecosystems, Dr. Shabab Wahid and team explore the ethnopsychology of locally conceptualized distress triggered by environmental stressors among Kenya’s Kilifi County residents.
