In a month's time, the March Month of "La Francophonie" will start! The goal is to promote the French language in the context of cultural diversity, as well as to support dialogue and bringing together people, groups and communities interested in the Francophonie.
Hundreds of activities will take place across the continent. Community gatherings, multicultural gatherings, ceremonies, shows, songs, theater, poetry, film screenings, competitions, educational activities, all are excuses to celebrate. The is no stranger to this and is pleased to work with the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African Art (NMAfA) to organize these guided tours in French as part of the month-long DC Francophonie Festival (www.francophonie-dc.org).
