The Communication and the Future (CATF) Division is seeking nominations for 4 positions!
-Vice Chair-Elect
-Secretary
-Graduate Student Representative
-Social Chair

Self-nominations are also encouraged. We will also accept nominations at the CATF Division Meeting, which will be held on Friday, November 17th from 2:00 PM - 3:15 PM EST in Magnolia 3 - Hotel, Ballroom Level

The Vice Chair-Elect will serve as a convention submission evaluator. They will also work with the Chair in membership recruitment for the Division. The person in this position will follow the transition from Vice Chair-Elect to Vice Chair, Chair, and then Immediate Past Chair (4-year commitment in total).

The Secretary will serve as recorder/historian for the division and will prepare minutes at the 2024 conference. The person in this position will follow the transition from Secretary to Vice Chair-Elect, Vice Chair, Chair, and then Immediate Past Chair (5-year commitment in total).

The Graduate Student Representative will serve as a liaison between our graduate student members and the executive committee to ensure that graduate student interests are represented (1-year commitment).

Finally, the Social Chair shall serve as the social media coordinator and event planner for the Division. They will also work in coordination with the Executive committee to execute the division’s social media strategy as well as organize and coordinate annual recruitment events (1-year commitment).
