Parke Gibson Chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America, producing future leaders in the public relations industry. We are striving to make our mark in the industry one press release at a time and cultivating public relations within all communities. Parke Gibson Chapter was founded in the year 1985 by Debra Miller .Our organization is a pre-professional student run organization with over 200 across the nation. Parke Gibson because he was a pioneer in multicultural public relations as well as the founder of the first black-owned PR firm, D. Parke Gibson International, in New York in 1960. We are located within the John H. Johnson School of Communications (JHJSOC), Howard University. DPG was the first Historically Black College or University chapter within PRSSA.
