When JuliAnne Miller was awarded the ADF/IFOD Scholarship, she took the opportunity and ran with it. Starting in our CBT program, JuliAnne showed determination, discipline, and a passion for aviation every single step of the way.

After completing the online portion of training, she joined us for in-person instruction where the hard work truly paid off. Long study nights, practical prep, weather charts, flight planning, and teamwork all led to one incredible moment — earning her Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate. 👏

But she didn’t stop there…

Immediately after completing training, JuliAnne accepted a position with Allegiant Air and officially launched her career in airline operations.

The Airline Dispatch Federation is proud to be attending InfoShare 2026 in St. Louis, Missouri — where airlines, government agencies, manufacturers, and aviation industry leaders come together with one common goal: improving aviation safety.

Flight Dispatchers play a critical role in operational safety every single day through risk assessment, weather analysis, fuel planning, operational control, and real-time decision making alongside our flight crews.

ADF looks forward to engaging in important safety discussions, sharing perspectives from the dispatch profession, and continuing collaboration across the industry to strengthen aviation safety for everyone.

The Airline Dispatchers Federation was proud to represent our members at the recent 65th IFALDA/EUFALDA AGM in Dallas last week. It was an incredible week of connecting with our peers across the industry on a global scale and focusing on the evolving landscape of international flight operations.

Our then-President Jim Starnes provided an update on ADF’s current affairs and goals, reinforcing our mission to represent the dispatch profession via outreach initiatives and government lobbying. Our Chairman of Advanced Air Mobility and NetGen Initiatives, Jake Zelman, gave a presentation on the development of eVTOL aircraft and emphasized his call to action for dispatchers to secure a seat at the table in regulation-making in order to ensure safety and expertise are at the forefront.

Thank you to IFALDA and EUFALDA for hosting a fantastic event and bringing together numerous international organizations! These global collaborations are extremely important now more than ever.
