Shirt Sale for Underserved Refugees
Fundraising for the Collatoral Repair Project
Cost: $15 ($17 for XXL)
What: This shirt sale is as a fundraiser for Collateral Repair Project, a grassroots effort to meet the needs of urban refugees in Amman, Jordan. All sales will go to creating a new community center for underserved Sudanese, Somali, and Yemeni refugees. Racism and discrimination, language barriers, lack of funding, and generally being smaller populations in a country already trying to accommodate millions of Syrian refugees are all major hurdles for these communities. A new center closer to these groups will help Collateral Repair Project distribute financial assistance and create relationships between these refugees and Jordanian society.
