We're 95 percent of the way to our $220 million goal for the Together We Shine Campaign.
In October 2025, Sidwell Friends launched the culminating phase of the Together We Shine campaign, which will conclude in June 2027. Thanks to the generosity of the Sidwell Friends community, more than $209.5 million has already been raised — gifts that fuel financial aid, faculty salaries and professional development, and the endowment that supports everything we do.
The campaign's success is also making a decade-long dream a reality: campus reunification. This fall, 9th–12th graders begin the school year in the brand-new Upper School — a major milestone toward bringing Sidwell Friends back to one campus for the first time in 60 years. In 2028, a new Lower School and green space at the heart of campus will open, completing the vision.
As campaign co-clerk Belinda Nixon P '17, '23 says, "This final phase matters so much because all of our investments in financial aid, new faculty positions, and facilities only reach their full impact when our whole community can work together as one."
When we cross the finish line next year, Together We Shine will have brought our community together in a historic, herculean, and joyous effort.
