🌱 Happy National Garden Month! We’re celebrating the garden at Langley Elementary and our partnership with FoodPrints DC , who help make this space possible for students to learn, explore, and grow.

At Langley Elementary, our partnership with FoodPrints brings food and garden education full circle: from the garden to the classroom to the cafeteria… This winter, students cooked Bean & Veggie Chili in their FoodPrints class using locally grown carrots, then enjoyed that same chili for lunch, prepared by the Langley food services team.

Through hands-on cooking, garden learning, and school meals, students eat and enjoy nutritious food throughout their school day.
