En la Interamericana de Puerto Rico, la inteligencia artificial ya formaba parte del trabajo diario del profesorado antes de que existiera un plan formal de adopción.

Gracias a las herramientas de diseño instruccional de Blackboard LMS, la institución ya usaba la IA para apoyar a los docentes en el diseño de sus cursos en línea. Ese uso temprano llevó a una pregunta más grande: ¿qué herramienta podía ayudar a optimizar el tiempo de los profesores y fortalecer su comunicación con los estudiantes? La búsqueda de una respuesta llevó a la institución directamente a Blackboard LMS: AVA.

Al capacitar al profesorado antes de pedirles que lo adoptaran, la Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico convirtió a Blackboard LMS: AVA en una herramienta en la que los profesores confiaban para fortalecer — no reemplazar — su conexión con los estudiantes.
