Awesome turn out at the Sudhouse Pre-Fall Mixer on Friday! It was great meeting new students, seeing returning students, and we're excited to put on more events this coming semester!

Sudhouse is right outside the U Street Metro station and we have a space reserved—don’t forget to bring ID whether you plan on drinking or not.

To ensure everyone’s safety as we start in-person classes, we strongly encourage you to take a COVID-19 test tomorrow morning and monitor your symptoms before the event. If you have any COVID-19 symptoms (you can find a complete list on the CDC website), please stay home. We’ll have lots of other social opportunities this semester. We also encourage you to wear a mask if you’ll be using public transportation tomorrow. Cases are pretty low in the DMV right now—masks and tests help cases stay down!

It’s and I have only one wish. The School of Public Affairs Graduate Student Council at American University is hosting a fundraiser and donation drive to benefit Heal Da Homies, a mutual aid organization based in Washington, DC. No amount is too small or too large if it can help someone in-need!
