We are the South Asian Student Association (SASA) and our purpose is to extend and promote South Asian culture at American University.
Our events immerse members in South Asian traditions and culture such as cultural celebrations, Bollywood movie screenings, henna nights and more. Our membership body is comprised of many different ethnicities, faiths, and shades. SASA goes beyond culture and also makes sure to address the politics of the region and beyond. Spring 2022E-Board

Please join us for the third installment of the Spring 2022 Settler-Colonialism Series: "From Sheikh Jarrah to Washington DC, a conversation with Mohammed El-Kurd."
