The 21st Carroll Round was a time of innovation, scholarship, friendship, reunion, and promises.
On Friday, participants enjoyed a keynote dinner with Professor Kenneth Rogoff from Harvard University on the topic of monetary policy. On Saturday, Dr. Joshua Angrist, the 2021 Nobel laureate in economic sciences and the beloved author of ‘Mastering Metrics’ gave a keynote lecture on the empirical strategies in economics, especially that of Instrumental Variables and Regression Discontinuity.
We are so proud and grateful for all the excellent work presented by our participants as well as the generous support from our alumni. We hope to see you next year!
