Congratulations to Gregory Robinson, the program director of the James Webb Telescope until his retirement in July of this year, who was just named the Federal Employee of the Year for his amazing work at NASA! With the Webb program, he led nearly 20,000 people across 29 states and 14 countries. His colleagues celebrate him as a model public servant and leader. The following images are some of the first taken by the telescope, which captures the previously invisible infrared spectrum in full color.
