TO OUR STUDENTS: The Salsa With Silvia dance studio located in Columbia Heights, DC and Maryland, Bethesda is a huge fan of DANCE & FUN! So, we are here to teach you how to dance salsa, bachata, merengue, ballet, modern, contemporary, jazz, hip hop and other styles! Our classes give you a solid foundation in dance while teaching you
coordination, balance, etiquette, rhythm, musicality and more. We do that through games for the really little ones and we get a bit more serious with the older students. Our semesters are structured so that every student has a goal to achieve by the end of the curriculum and parents will see a great progress in your dancing skills. Our dance classes are perfect for your after school time. At the end of each semester, you will be able to demonstrate what you have learn and you’ll make your family and friends really proud. TO OUR PARENTS: While our focus is primarily on the super fun Latin dances, we also offer great ballet, modern, contemporary, hip hop, jazz and other styles to compliment any style of dance that your student may venture with in the future. Our classes often include a mix of styles to keep the students truly entertained and give them a broader experience when it comes to dancing. That way they can select the dance style(s) that they really want to focus on in the future. Not only do we teach kids how to dance, but we also educate them about music, composers, artists, dancing on beat, history of music and dance and more. As our program is expanding, we’ll be adding art, theater & dance workshops, after school and summer dance camp programs. We hope you join us!

Our young dancers from DC and Bethesda really brought the magic to the stage. Sharing some of our favorite moments from the Movie Magic Recital, the smiles, the outfits, the energy… everything! 💛🎬
From ballet to hip hop and Latin dance, they showed how much they’ve grown this semester.

👯♀️👯♂️🎈🧚🦄🧚♀️Pure magic in the making...our gorgeous little dancers danced graciously for their families at our Winter recital. We ended the year with lots of music, dancing, smiles, and flowers. Nothing more rewarding for a teacher than seeing their students dance on stage. At this recital our talented instructors could not be prouder.
