UDC-CAUSES was pleased to host Dr. Konstantine Mastorakis, Vice President of Nationale Piloti, President of Safe-Drive, WGES Global Athens 2026 Ambassador, and Co-Host of the WGES Global NOVA Awards of Greece, at the Van Ness campus and Firebird Research Farm in Beltsville, MD. The visit focused on sustainable agriculture, food systems, environmental stewardship, and international collaboration. Led by Dr. Sabine O’Hara, Distinguished Professor, this initiative establishes the foundation for future applied collaboration between U.S. and Greek institutions.

Dr. Omari Kirkland, Laboratory Specialist, Environmental Quality Testing Laboratory

Dr. Kirkland completed his Ph.D. in Chemistry at the City University of New York Graduate Center and previously worked at UDC as a postdoctoral research fellow in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
