Saturday, 09/21, tentatively at 1:30 p.m. - a 4 hour walking guided tour of Arlington National Cemetery; tour meets at Rosslyn metro. UNDERGRAD INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY: Are you an engineering student interested in computer simulations and data manipulation? Do you find analyzing data for computer modeling with real life application exciting? We are looking for an industrial or systems engineering student to spend roughly 10-20 hours a week entering parameters and probabilities into databases, taking measurements of distances, and more. This internship opportunity, at The National Institutes of Health, in Bethesda, MD will help improve the organizations performance by using process controls and more. If this is something you are interested in, apply now! Requires: Knowledge and experience with databases; Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Excel; a current student enrolled and pursuing a bachelor’s degree in industrial or systems engineering program; an interest in computer modeling and industrial engineering. Eligibility: at least 16 years of age; U.S. citizen, national or legal permanent resident (Non-citizens may apply); enrolled at least half-time in a degree seeking program; must be enrolled or plan on enrolling in the current or upcoming semester; and be in good academic standing (cumulative GPA 3.0 or above) Email your current resume and unofficial transcripts to [email protected]

Sunday, Sept 9th is the last day for Web Add/Drop on GWeb.
Students are eligible for a 60% tuition refund for classes dropped by Sunday, Sept 9th. Full-time, flat-rate tuition for undergraduates will not be affected.
(GWeb is open every day from 7:00am-10:00pm.)
