FACULTY FEATURE | Dr. Matthew Mehan is Associate Dean and Associate Professor of Government at Hillsdale College's Washington, D.C. Campus. He is a best-selling author of three illustrated family books in the liberal arts tradition. He now releases "The American Book of Fables" in honor of America's 250th anniversary.

From the Everglades to the Great Lakes, from the sequoias of California to the rocky islands of Maine, "The American Book of Fables" invites readers to rediscover the beauty of America—her lands, her people, and her principles of liberty, law, and love.

JAMES MADISON FELLOW FEATURE | John Rindone is a senior policy advisor at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. John previously served at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, where he was appointed as a Presidential Management Fellow and contributed to the Treasury’s leadership of the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS).

Before the Treasury, John worked as a credit analyst focused on aerospace and defense, energy, and utilities at Elmwood Asset Management, an alternative investment firm with over $20 billion under management. John is a Schwarzman Scholar, through which he obtained his master’s in global affairs, and previously graduated summa cm laude from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service, where he majored in international economics and minored in Chinese.
