Field Day 2026!

Our six Early Childhood classes came together to celebrate the end of the school year with a week full of outdoor learning, laughter, and fun! The children enjoyed a color party, splash day, bubbles, chalk, and more, creating lasting memories with friends while engaging in hands-on experiences.

A special thank you to our Early Childhood team for continuing to provide our youngest learners with meaningful, engaging opportunities every day!

☀️🎶 Summer Enrichment is Almost Here! 🎶☀️

Get ready for an exciting summer of learning and fun! The Dance Institute of Washington will be offering a special enrichment program for scholars ages 3–6. Young scholars will have the opportunity to explore movement, creativity, and self-expression through dance while continuing their summer learning journey.

📌 Please note: Scholars must be enrolled in Summer Learning Academy to participate in Summer Enrichment activities.

☀️ Don’t miss out on summer fun! The deadline to apply for Friendship Cares Summer Camp is Friday, June 12th. Families can apply by visiting www.friendshipschools.org.

Please note: Students must be enrolled in Summer Learning Academy in order to attend Friendship Cares Summer Camp.

Also, Friday, June 12th will be the final day of Friendship Cares for the 2025–2026 school year.

Good afternoon, families. Due to a road closure at Gales Street, afternoon dismissal procedures will be adjusted as follows:

• Parents picking up ECE and Kindergarten students may enter through the Main Entrance.
• 1st–3rd grade elementary students will dismiss from the entrance on 19th Street near the small playground.
• 4th–8th grade middle school dismissal will remain unchanged.

Thank you for your cooperation, patience, and understanding as we work to ensure a safe and smooth dismissal process.
