Miami Herald: "Cynthia McClintock, an expert on Peru who teaches at George Washington University, told me that there is no question that [the coup leader] Castillo violated the Constitution. Castillo announced the illegal dissolution of Congress in an address on national television. https://www.miamiherald.com/news/local/news-columns-blogs/andres-oppenheimer/article269999402.html
Perhaps it’s time for Peru to change its election laws to allow three rounds of voting if no candidate reaches 30% of the vote in the first round, as George Washington University’s McClintock has proposed. But there’s no doubt that Peru’s Congress did the right thing in upholding democratic institutions and ousting Castillo."

Criminal arrested after illegaly attempting coup to dissolve and destroy democracy: Will he pay for his crimes? https://elamerican.com/coup-detat-peru-pedro-castillo-arrested/ Read the criminal coup leader 's message where he orders the following:
1. Dissolve the Congress illegaly;
2. Dissolve the Constitutional Court (TC) illegaly;
3. Dissolve the Public Prosecutor's Office to stop current investigations on corruption;
4. Dissolve the judiciary to stop current investigations on government corruption;
5. Dissolve and reorganize the army...
6. And on top of that he orders civilians to instantly hand over all the weapons they have.

7. After dissolving the legislative and the judiciary branches, the criminal was also calling for a Constitutional Assembly to elaborate a new Constitution in order to redefine every law in the country.

Effectively, dissolving the 200 years old Republic of Peru, and starting a dictatorship instead.
Will he pay for his crimes?

Francis Fukuyama: "Castillo has to be one of the most incompetent, corrupt leaders ever elected".

Ahead of an impeachment vote by Congress, Pedro Castillo tried to dissolve the government and seize power. The attempt ended with his ouster and arrest.
