🥂 This Saturday, May 16th, the University of Alabama National Capital Chapter and the Alabama State Society will be hosting Stars Fell on Alabama, the marquee springtime event and fundraiser for Alabama alums, supporters, and friends in the Washington, D.C. area.

The cocktail event will feature live music, appetizers and passed hors d’oeuvres, complimentary drinks plus cash bar, and raffle prizes. The evening will raise scholarships for students at UA and convene Alabama-affiliated individuals and friends in the region at the historic National Union Building in downtown D.C.

Tickets are on sale on at the Eventbrite link in our bio, but are selling quickly - be sure to buy your tickets ASAP while supplies last.

Alabama community in DC! Join the Capitol Scholars Program this Wednesday evening for a reception on Pennsylvania Avenue to celebrate the great group of students participating in this summer’s cohort, and connect with other UA system alumni and supporters.

The Capitol Scholars Program is an immersive summer internship program in Washington, D.C., for exceptional University of Alabama System students who plan to pursue a career opportunity in or around the government. This curated experience is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of government, introducing them to various positions in the field and expanding their view of governmental affairs.
