We are excited to welcome our 2026 Communications & Web Support Intern, Janhavi Ramekar! Throughout the summer, Janhavi will support the FAPAC newsletter, social media, website redesign, and gain insight into FAPAC’s nonprofit and public service activities. Get to know Janhavi:

Hi everyone! My name is Janhavi Ramekar, and I am so excited to be an intern with the FAPAC team this summer! I am currently studying Psychology and Data Science at Oakland University, with a strong interest in civic service and public policy.

Over the years, I have spent a lot of time working with nonprofit organizations such as the American Red Cross and UNICEF. Being involved with organizations that focus on bringing people together and creating positive change has always been important to me. Through these experiences, I have also developed a deeper interest in public policy and the impact it can have on communities. I can't wait to contribute to the FAPAC family and am excited to see what this summer has in store!

On May 30, 2026, we held our annual FAPAC Awards Gala, and it was an incredible evening celebrating the achievements and impact of our community!

Guests enjoyed inspiring remarks from speakers, wonderful performances, and the opportunity to recognize our scholarship recipient Nicole Hoang for her outstanding hard work and accomplishments. We are also grateful to everyone who participated in our silent auction and raffle, which raised $2500 toward the FAPAC Scholarship Endowment Fund.

Thank you to all who attended, supported, and helped make this event such a success. We are excited for the year ahead and look forward to continuing our work, hosting more events, and making an even greater impact together!
