💙🐾 Celebrating Community School Coordinators Appreciation Week! 🐾💙

This week, we are proud to celebrate Community School Coordinators Appreciation Week and recognize two incredible members of Team Daly: Erika Larios, our Community School Liaison, and Nathalia Lagrana, our Parent Community Coordinator! 🎉

Whether they are helping organize and fund field trips, coordinating distributions of food, clothing, and school supplies, connecting families with needed resources, building partnerships with community organizations, or creating meaningful opportunities for families to engage with our school, Erika and Nathalia are constantly working behind the scenes to support our Daly Bulldogs and their families. Their care, creativity, and commitment help make our school community stronger every day.

Their impact shows up in so many programs, partnerships, events, and supports available to our students and families, and we are incredibly grateful for everything they do.

Families, help us show Erika and Nathalia some extra love this week! 💌 Encourage your student to write them a note, draw them a picture, or send them an email sharing your appreciation for all they do for our school community.

Thank you, Erika and Nathalia, for all you do to care for, connect, and strengthen our Daly community. We are so grateful to have you on Team Daly!

Nationally, Coalition for Community Schools is celebrating Site Coordinators this week - earlier this summer, Governor Evers proclaimed September 21-25 Site Coordinator Appreciation Week in Wisconsin.

WE LOVE OUR SITE COORDINATORS & are proud to celebrate them two weeks in a row. Here's a shout out this week as we know each district is planning their own weeklong appreciation next week!

We’re proud to recognize Scot Galloway, United Way Community School Director at Perry Elementary, a community school for receiving the Institute for Educational LeadershipCommunity School Coordinator Award. 🎉

This national award goes to an individual that demonstrates the ability to facilitate collaboration, inclusiveness, and distributive leadership across their school.

Scot was nominated by Perry teachers and staff, a true reflection of the impact he’s making every day at Perry.

While we celebrate Scot, this moment also speaks to the work happening across all United Way Community Schools. Our Community School Directors show up every day to build relationships, support students and families, and strengthen their school communities.
