We are excited to announce the newest member of the DFER family, Hans Goff, Vice President of Advocacy & Government Affairs. Goff will serve to promote federal legislation & executive action that progresses a high-quality public education for all students.

DFER Welcomes Hans Goff as VP of Government Affairs - Democrats for Education Reform DFER is a national political organization that supports elected Democrats and candidates for office who seek to expand policies that improve the quality of education for America’s students.

After 7 years of accomplishing significant victories that have expanded education opportunities for millions of students across the country, we announce the departure of DFER's President Shavar Jeffries who will be joining the KIPP Foundation as its CEO. It is a bittersweet farewell!

It's official! Today, DFER launches a new state chapter in Texas! 🎉🎉 Opening the chapter is Garry Jones, who will serve as DFER Texas Political Director.
