As we come to the end of Hispanic Heritage Month our students spent a month celebrating with art and architecture, agriculture and appreciation. They explored the impact of Hispanic cultures through literature, research, and conversations with community members.

Happy Feast Day, Our Lady of Victory! Our 8th Graders led the school in learning about Our Lady by making and praying "nature rosaries." Our 8th Graders also presented a skit about the origins and beauty of the rosary as a prayer. 🎉

🌟🐾 Our Early Childhood classes had a wonderful time celebrating St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals! Students brought in their favorite stuffed animals and photos of their beloved pets to honor this special day. It was a joy to see all the adorable companions and share in the spirit of kindness towards our furry friends! 🐶❤️🐱

Our Lady of Victory School (OLV) is a dynamic, diverse Catholic school in Washington, D.C. with 220 students in PK3 through Grade 8. Twice recognized as a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence by the U.S. Department of Education (2207 & 2016), the teachers and staff of the school are committed to providing a learning environment that promotes scholarly excellence while fostering students’ moral and spiritual growth. Small class sizes with an average of 19 students in each class, enables individualized attention and for each child to develop his/her unique gifts and talents. Living and teaching the Gospel message helps students develop faith-filled relationships with God and others.
