Family Medicine presented many posters on truly innovative topics that are actively shifting primary care and it was an absolute pleasure to be there to support my entire team and the rest of Centralus.

Even crashed into a PGY2 IM resident from Cayuga that recognized me from my YouTube channel!! That was a special highlight :P

Getting messages from a lot of new followers in the last two months ever since ended and I started guiding the next batch of residency aspirants. Its great to see my original work on YouTube is still so helpful. I've started laying out a foundation to start new, refreshed lectures now. Hopefully ill have them up soon!

Clinical knowledge never ripens. You have to keep building and refreshing it. And every day something new becomes significant because disease and technology will always keep developing and evolving!

Even my most seasoned mentors at my residency program are always eager to learn and I absolutely love that.

The end of my first rotation, my very own episodes of , live daily. Whether it was a morning 6am shift or an overnight 10pm shift, I was always excited show up and meet the first triage or ambulance arrival that popped up on my side of the unit! Excellent experience that was only made better by unbelievably amazing colleagues and unfathomable mentors.

It wasn't just everyone's intelligence and experience alone that made them brilliant to work with, but rather the sheer compassion and brilliant joy I felt in every conversation with each attending and colleague.

Attending the **P Transition to Residency Conference this weekend and I have been learning so much as I bring discussions regarding the initiation of more programs for to receive structured training and cultural education to help them mold themselves into American Healthcare.

Understanding signaling on a larger scale, comprehending how programs can help IMGs, and discussing big pain points has been priceless.

It's been great working with the aspirants this year and I personally vouched for many at various programs. Will do interview skills this coming weekend. And excited to work closely with aspirants starting July 2026!

Four patients who underwent robotically assisted aortic valve replacement (AVR) with transcervical access were able to resume an active life one week later without any restrictions, reporting low-level pain during recovery.

Cleveland Clinic cardiothoracic surgeon Marijan Koprivanac, MD, who performed the operations earlier this year, announced the results in a late-breaking presentation at the American Association for Thoracic Surgery annual meeting in May. The series is the first known report of the clinical application of transcervical robotic AVR.

“We are optimistic that this strategy could be a breakthrough for offering the benefits of surgical AVR without the lengthier and more painful recovery associated with current options,” says Dr. Koprivanac.

Robotic assistance for AVR is now in the vanguard of this evolution, conferring the advantages of smaller incisions, enhanced visualization and greater precision compared with other surgical methods. Combining robotics with a transcervical approach — potentially offering an even less-invasive option — is being explored by a few groups, but Dr. Koprivanac is unaware that it has been performed by others beyond feasibility studies in cadavers.

Had a wild night shift. From admitting 3 newborns, to admitting a young adult, to responding for a code and signing a note for a deceased patient. You just don't do this in medical school or internships.
