Kraft is a seasoned executive and technology leader with extensive experience driving transformational change across the public and private sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the U.S. Secret Service, he oversees enterprise IT operations, software, and cybersecurity, managing a $100M annual budget and a workforce of 400 personnel. In this role, he has implemented initiatives to streamline operations, enhance service delivery, and align technology with mission-critical priorities, including advancing the agency’s adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) for protective operations.

Meet Professional Access Roundtable Discussion Leader 🔹 Chris Rodriguez - Sustainable Urban Planning & Political Management

Dr. Chris Rodriguez is the Assistant City Administrator for the District of Columbia. He is responsible for cross-agency collaboration and service delivery for the city’s 38,000 employees, which includes the Departments of General Services, Human Resources, Risk Management, Labor Relations and Collective Bargaining, and Contracting and Procurement, as well as the Office of the Chief Technology Officer, responsible for all technology operations and artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives. Dr. Rodriguez chairs DC’s AI Task Force, which is charged with reviewing, approving, and implementing innovative AI projects across District Government.

MCUP publishes scholarly monographs and six journals: the Journal of Advanced Military Studies (JAMS), Marine Corps History, Expeditions with MCUP (digital), China Military Studies Review, International Perspectives on Military Education, and MCU Insights. Ms. Anderson directs and manages the acquisition, editing, design, and production of contemporary and military history monographs and scholarly journals for all MCUP imprints.
