This week, we’re still split between Israel and Chutz La’aretz.

In Israel, we read Beha’alotcha — beginning with the lighting of the Menorah, continuing with the dedication of the Levi’im, Pesach Sheni, the cloud guiding Bnei Yisrael through the desert, and the nation’s complaints as they struggle with the journey.

In Chutz La’aretz, we read Naso — the longest parsha in the Torah, covering the roles of the Levi’im, the laws of the Sotah and Nazir, Birkat Kohanim, and the offerings brought by the Nesi’im at the dedication of the Mishkan.

Two different parshiyot, but one shared message:
Whether through structure, blessing, service, or spiritual struggle, the Torah is teaching us how to move forward as a people — with holiness, responsibility, and faith.

We had the honor of visiting families of victims of terror to deliver Healing Hearts Blessing Blankets.
There are no words that fill these spaces. No gesture that undoes what was taken. But there is the quiet act of showing up, of placing something soft into someone’s hands, of saying without saying: you are not alone, and you are not forgotten.
Each Healing Hearts Blessing Blanket is woven from artwork and messages of hope sent by people around the world. Strangers, neighbours, kids, grandparents. Every blanket carries thousands of small prayers, stitched together into one embrace.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who has contributed to this initiative, and to the families who opened their homes to us. May the hugs that the blankets give be felt, even on the heaviest days.

We would not exist if it were not for their sacrifice. 💙

35 years ago today, Israel carried out one of the most daring and awe-inspiring rescue missions in modern history.

In just 36 hours, Operation Solomon airlifted over 14,000 Ethiopian Jews to safety — from danger, persecution, and instability in Ethiopia to a new life in the Land of Israel.

Using 35 aircraft, including El Al planes with the seats removed to fit more passengers, Israel brought home thousands of Jews to reunite with their people — fulfilling a 2,500-year-old dream of return.

This was more than a military operation. It was an act of destiny. A reminder that Am Yisrael is one family, wherever we are.

🇮🇱 We are proud of a nation that risks everything to bring our brothers and sisters home.
📖 We are a people with an ancient promise and a future still unfolding.

Happy anniversary to one of the greatest miracles of modern Zionism.

As we celebrate Shavuot, the festival marking the giving of the Torah at Mount Sinai, we are reminded of the profound moment that has bound the Jewish people together for millennia. Rabbi Jonathan Sacks beautifully articulated, "The Torah is God’s invitation to us to enter into dialogue with Him, to wrestle with His word and find our own meanings within it." This divine invitation continues to shape our identity, our community, and our collective destiny.

Shavuot is not merely a commemoration of an ancient event; it is a living covenant renewed with every generation. The Torah is our guide, our source of wisdom, and our eternal link to God and to each other. It is through the Torah that we find our shared purpose and our individual calling. It is a book of laws, indeed, but also a profound narrative of human experience, offering insights into justice, compassion, and faith.

It’s almost Shavuot! 🕊️🇮🇱

A time to celebrate the giving of the Torah at Sinai — the moment our identity as a nation was born. Shavuot isn’t just about staying up all night learning or enjoying cheesecake (though we fully support that too!); it’s about reconnecting with our values, our history, and our eternal bond with the Land of Israel.

This holiday reminds us that from Sinai to today, our Jewish story is one of continuity, resilience, and divine purpose.

Chodesh Tov.
We enter Sivan, the month of revelation. The month our ancestors stood at Sinai and received the Torah. The month the Jewish people became a nation, not by land or by army, but by covenant.
Every Rosh Chodesh is a quiet renewal. A moment to pause between what was and what is becoming. But Sivan carries something distinct in its bones. It is the month we count toward. The month we have been preparing for since Pesach. The month that holds the answer to the question of who we are.
Shavuot is just days away. Sinai is approaching.
May this Sivan bring clarity, presence, and the readiness to receive what is meant for us.
