Today was a beautiful day for a field trip! ILI took some of our students to the Japanese Information and Culture Center to see their Chasing Kaguya exhibition. This exhibition centers on the moon and space in Japanese culture, history, technology, and diplomacy.

The students learned about Japanese moon myths, waka poems, and international space history. We also got a sneak peek of the upcoming cherry blossom themed exhibition 👀 we’ll be back soon!!

Due to the extreme weather in our area, ILI will be closed on Tuesday January 27, 2026. There will be no classes, in-person or online.

Extreme weather policy:
If the Federal Government is closed all day due to bad weather, then ILI is closed all day. If the Federal Government is delayed by two hours, ILI will open at 10:30 am instead of 8:30 am.
