Great job once again, Class of '82! We finished in 3rd place out of 61 classes in both class participation (the percentage of our class who are donors who have given since the beginning of the fiscal year) and in the number of donors who gave during the 1,789 minutes of the Blue & Gray Day campaign. This marks the fifth year in a row that we have finished in the Top3 for donors, and either in first, tied for first, second, or third in participation percentage. We remain one of the three elite Blue & Gray Day classes thanks to your participation and the great hard work and dedication of our Class Ambassadors, especially Chuck, Leslie, Amity, Audrey, and Nuala who worked tirelessly over these past two days to do constant outreach to our classmates. Eileen and I salute you and thank you!
We secured our second-highest total ever in terms of donors during the campaign, hitting 188 this year, 10 more than what was needed to unlock a generous $20,000 matching gift donated by classmate John Staples and his husband Scott Raspa.
Great job, Class of '82! HOYA SAXA!

Hey you beautiful Class of '82 Hoyas! We are LIVE with our annual Blue & Gray Day Challenge ... a challenge which our class almost always finishes in the Top 3 in both class competitions (last year we finished in 2nd place, out of 50 classes, in both class competitions (number of donors during Blue & Gray Day, and the percentage of the class who have donated during the fiscal year to date). Let's slay this again!!!
Here is the link to donate. IF you've already donated this year, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! Please consider making a nominal gift during the campaign to help bolster our class numbers.
And if you haven't had the chance to donate yet, this is the perfect time to do so. The campaign stays open until tomorrow night, Wednesday, March 25, until 11:59pm Eastern/8:59pm Pacific.
One more thing: Our 45th reunion is just 14 months and 11 days away, June 4-6. 2027, so mark your calendars now!

Three cheers to the Class of '82 Class Committee and every classmate that donated during this year's Blue & Gray Day Challenge! Once again, our class crushed the challenge, finishing in second place out of 60 classes in both class competitions. Further, we set a new Class of '82 Blue & Gray Day donor record with 210 individual donors--which was 34 more donors than last year's record of 176.
Best of all, we reached our goal of 177, which unlocked the $20,000 challenge match gift once again generously donated by classmate John Staples and his husband Scott Raspa. This matching gift will be allocated to our Class of '82 Endowed Scholarship. Thank you, John and Scott!
Hoya Saxa! Next year, we scale even great heights!

Hey fellow '82 Hoyas!
It is a two-class race for the class participation prize in this year's Blue & Gray Day Challenge ... we are within striking distance of the prize. With just 6.5 hours left in the challenge, please consider making any size gift that will go toward our class total. HOYA SAXA!
