ATTENTION INCOMING EAGLES!!!! Now’s time for the most EXCITING part of building your freshman nest–the roommate matching process! We’re so ECSTATIC that you’ll be joining us next year, that we’ve made a handy-dandy guide for you.

Here’s a quick abridged version:
1️⃣ ensure you’ve completed your Housing Application by the priority deadline of 5/8 at 12PM. (It’s ok if you haven’t yet; but if you do have it, it means you can move onto the next step, which is to:)
2️⃣ search for your future roommate using the name or AUID in the housing portal. You can also browse roommate options based on the percentage match in the portal!
3️⃣ create your roommate group! After finding out your timeslots on 5/15, start prepping for room selection in June and rank your top choices as a group.

⭐ You CANNOT make roommate groups after you select your housing. In other words, if you intend on living with a roommate, you must designate each other prior to your housing selection timeslot.

⭐ When finding roommates, you must match gender and housing communities selected statuses!

ATTENTION INCOMING EAGLES!!!! We’re SO happy you’re choosing to build your nest at AU next year s this process can be confusing, so we’ve compiled a step-by-step guide for our newest of the flock 🦅

Starting today (4/2), you’ll have the opportunity to go into the AU Housing Portal to:
1️⃣ sign the Housing License Agreement
2️⃣ confirm your contact information, and
3️⃣ create a roommate profile (optional).

⭐️All students are required to live their first and second years on campus, and those who want to submit an exemption to the residency requirement will need to submit their housing application AND exemption documents by June 1st 11:59pm LATEST!
