Congratulations, Moroti Adegboyega (St. Bonaventure's College '27) on this huge accomplishment in global ecology!

Congratulation to Grade 12 student Moroti Adegboyega '27, who has won the Stockholm Junior Water Prize 2026 for Ecoferroquatics his platform that uses AI and magnets to selectively remove plastic from water. Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden presented the prestigious award during a ceremony at Stockholm City Hall as part of World Water Week.

The II Congrès JESEDU-Montréal 2027 planning group met this week at beautiful Loyola High School. Jen LaMaster, Catharine Steffens, and Iliana Brown joined our JESEDU, Educate Magis, and Loyola colleagues in person to discuss and coordinate the good work of welcoming the provincial delegates/assistants for education from across the globe in 2027. The II Congress will serve as the conclusion of the second cycle of the Global Gathering of the JGNS, following the II Colloquium JESEDU-Global 2021 and the II Seminar JESEDU-Jogja 2024.

We're grateful for our time this week at the NativityMiguel Coalition (NMC) 2026 National Conference in St. Louis, MO. JSN Executive Director Jen LaMaster, Ron Rebore (PASE, UCS), and Sue Baber (Associate PASE, UEA) attended the conference, which kicked off at Loyola Academy of St. Louis and was followed by two days of breakout sessions and conversations that strengthened our shared mission.

Buen camino to our JSN colleagues who began their pilgrimage yesterday in Loyola, Spain! Over the next 10 days, the group will travel to Manresa, following the footsteps of Saint Ignatius Loyola and stopping at various points along the way including the birth places of Saints Francis Xavier and Peter Claver and the shrines of Our Lady Aránzazu and Montserrat.
