✨ DAY 1 IN ATHENS: HISTORY OFF THE PAGE ✨
Our 2026 SeedDc InGreece Greece Classics cohort (w/ The School of Maryland) has officially hit the ground running! 🇬🇷✈️
Their first full day wasn’t just standard sightseeing—our scholars took full ownership of their experience:
📚 Mythology & Movement: Immersive storytelling, traditional music, and dance in the National Garden.
💂♂️ Tradition in Action: Witnessing the precision of the Changing of the Guard at Parliament.
🏛️ Ancient Wonders: Scaling Acropolis Hill to explore the Parthenon and the Acropolis Museum.
From capturing content to navigating the transit grid, this cohort is moving as one unified collective. No passive tourists here—only global scholars.
Drop a 🇬🇷 to support the journey, and follow on IG for live daily updates!

For SEED Foundation Scholarship recipient Gabrielle (SEED DC'26), what stands out most about her SEED experience has been the unique sense of community and support SEED provides. “SEED teaches you to be independent but makes sure you have people to depend on—there’s always a trusted adult you can find,” she says. As she embarks on her college journey, Gabrielle will continue to be surrounded by adults from SEED who are committed to her growth and success in college and in life! 🏆 REGULAR SEASON FINALE 🏆 SEED Falcons closed out their inaugural season with a huge 10-8 win over Latin PCS! 🥏🔥 SEED Falcons finished 3-1 in fully played regular season games — an INCREDIBLE accomplishment in a league filled with experienced programs and talent. While SEED PCS was ineligible to compete in the charter playoffs nor the multiple DMV state championships this year due to team composition requirements, this season was still history-making! One of the first all-Black high school ultimate frisbee teams in the country…and the Falcons DOMINATED! 💪🏿 SHOUT OUT and thank you to Alex Freeman and the Timber Pizza Company for celebrating with and supporting our team all season long! 🍕 Congratulations to these student-athletes for showing what it means to SHOW UP. The future is bright. ✨
