Last night, we celebrated growth, opportunity, and the bright future ahead at our ribbon cutting ceremony. The evening was filled with facility tours, heartfelt remarks, inspiring stories from students and alumni, and a celebratory toast to this exciting new chapter.

Students and staff from LAYC Career Academy joined fellow adult charter schools at the John A. Wilson Building for Adult Education Public Charter Schools Advocacy Day.

Together, we met with DC Councilmembers to advocate for the 5,000+ adult learners served across our schools each year and highlighted the importance of sustaining adult education funding, expanding transportation support, and strengthening workforce partnerships.

We are proud of our students and staff who shared their stories and helped uplift the voices of adult learners across DC.
