Monday, June 19th, SCS observes Juneteenth, a nationwide holiday to commemorate the end of the enslavement of people of African descent in the U.S. The African American community's extraordinary strength and resilience serve as a poignant reminder that the legacies of enslavement and segregation still need to be urgently addressed.
