❗Scholarship opportunity for VUB participants.

The NAVUB Scholarship is open to current or former Veterans Upward Bound participants who are admitted to or currently enrolled in a postsecondary institution and seeking an undergraduate degree. Awards range from $500 to $2,000.

Applications are due by 11:59 PM on Friday, May 29, 2026. Required materials include the completed application, nomination letter, recommendation letter, student essay, and a color photo of the nominee.

Veterans with multiple periods of service, or even a single qualifying period of service, may now be eligible for expanded GI Bill education benefits.

The VA is reviewing eligibility more broadly, including first-priority reviews for Veterans with less than 3 months of benefits remaining, those currently enrolled in school, or those enrolled within the past 6 months.

You no longer need to formally request an eligibility assessment.
