May 16th, 2024: The Integrative Medicine and Health Sciences Program celebrated our 20th anniversary and 20th graduating class with many notable alumni from the program coming to present.
Our students and their loved ones were then treated to an unforgettable dinner reception to celebrate the end of their time on campus ahead of their practicum course.
What a wonderful way to celebrate the end of the semester for our students!

April 19th, 2024: The students had a warm welcome from the Virginia University of Integrative Medicine. They toured the facilities, learned about the programs available, and observed acupuncture being done on a client. It was easily a highlight of the semester for many students. Thank you VUIM!

April 9th-12, 2024: Some of our students volunteered at the Academic Consortium for Integrative Health’s yearly Congress event in Cleveland, OH! Students enjoyed talks from leaders and experts in multiple forms of integrative medicine, networked with other professionals (and some IMHS alumni!), and enjoyed the city of Cleveland in the process.

Miss our seminar post this week? There’s a reason!
Dr. Shah came to teach our class about the pathophysiology behind Myofascial pain and then did a workshop with us on some of the CIM techniques they use at NIH Rehabilitation Group!

His sense of humor and knowledge really impressed the class! Thanks Dr. Shah!

Our students clean up nice, don’t you think? We had a fabulous time at the Inaugural Gala last night, can’t wait to see our next cohort go to this in the future! Well done GradGov 💙🩶 Hoya Saxa!

Our students got to experience breath work in our CIM workshop this week! We really enjoyed the ✨breath✨ of fresh air going into the weekend 🤪
