My heart is heavy. I lost my mother last evening. She was the matriarch of the family, grandmother and great grandmother of so many nieces and nephews. FaceTimed with her on Sunday while at the hospital and she sang for me the hymn “Do not pass me by”. It turns out, that was a good bye. I will always cherish the memories she leaves behind.
