Piano Christmas Party with the DC students! 🎄🎹🎅🎶☃️
This was so fun! It was just a casual Christmas occasion to get some play time in, but it really was a party! So proud of these guys, all the work they did, and their bravery. For most of them, this was their first time “on a stage”. They did awesome!
Many thanks to my favorite person for his photography skills 📸❤️

Thanksgiving, and all the things I’m thankful for in a nutshell - family, faith, football. Not pictured but also thankful for - who was working Black Friday, who was in Montana on a semester abroad, and Dad, who was in the garage butchering a deer. 🦌🥩😋 (Also thankful OSU beat ❌ichigan. 💪🏈🅾️)

Saturday morning rehearsal for the Christmas Concert! This was the first time at DCM that we put together large strings groups, one beginner group and one intermediate group, with around 30 students in total! Planning to do more of these in the future!

The Kennedy Center! One of my favorite places, with one of my favorite friends! So fun to go see this production, and very well done. Had to snoop around the orchestra pit during intermission, and the chandelier of chandeliers was dizzying to look at! Also found Box 5, which appeared to be left open, iykyk. Did not see any opera ghosts though, disappointingly. Going to miss moments like these for the next two years, if the KC actually closes for repairs. ☹️

All right ya'll, get ready for a deluge. I have to catch up from the past several MONTHS!
Grateful for the very cool opportunity to accompany the lovely Hallie Craig, soprano, for a military veteran's funeral the weekend of Veteran's Day. The honored lady's family chose the Semper Fidelis Chapel at the National Museum of the Marine Corps for the venue. It was a beautiful memorial service, with beautiful music, in a beautiful place, for a beautiful Marine. Thankful for her service, may she rest in peace!
If you need a singer, contact Hallie at https://singsweetly.com/. If you need a pianist, you know where to reach me!

Been having a great fall over here and getting in some accompanying! What a great privilege it was to work with the coolest opera star ever - Anthony Anderson. What a voice! You can hear him regularly on Sundays at Foundry UMC, or go see him in Aida with the Washington National Opera!
Also, shout out to my favorite photographer, and audio engineer, and emotional support husband, Martín D'La Fuente ☺️❤️
