CONSULTATION AND COLLABORATION
For all intents, this category engages the Forum as a think tank. Members operate within area of competence.
• Consultation may take many forms. These may include advisory, membership, leadership, advocate, convener, or informational. o Forum members, practicing within their competence and expertise may elect or be asked to serve as a consultant or partner on any presented project or activity.
• Collaboration, like consultation, may take many forms. These may include advisory, membership, leadership, advocate, convener, or informational OR being asked to sit on an advisory committee, keynoting an event, lead trainer, recommending formation of committee/task force, serving as a resource, providing research and other such materials, serving as a gatekeeper to connect to or bring together other parties, and more. EDUCATION AND TRAINING
For all intents, this category engages the Forum as a resource. Members operate within their areas of competence.
• Education can take both formal and informal iterations. Scope of the work is detailed according to the parties engaged in the direct collaboration and/or effort. o Forum members, practicing within area of competence, may elect or be asked to provide education on select topics, to develop curriculum or related artifacts to this work.
• Training can take both formal and informal iterations. o Forum members practicing within their areas of competence may elect or be asked to provide training on select topics varying by time, modality, or needs of the population. o Copyrights and liabilities for work produced is negotiated. o Fair act rules apply in all monetary and non-monetary products developed and disseminated. o Each person, unless asked to give up, own the copyright of the collaborated work. o Marketing, promotion, and external communication of work beyond the group must be agreed upon prior to sharing. RESEARCH AND DISSEMINATION
For all intents, this category engages the Forum as researchers. Members operate within their areas of competence.
• Research is collecting data of all kinds for public consumption around a specific topic. o Any artifacts of work developed must be disseminated in consumable form for Belizean constituents of various groups and ages.
• Dissemination can take any form inclusive of website, books (textbooks, children’s books, coloring books, and marketing materials), songs, artwork, museum displays, articles, news briefs, research papers, television shows, apps, and other currently relevant platforms inclusive of social media. o The Parties acknowledge and agree that any such activity must be organized and administered in accordance with applicable laws of both Belize and the US and the relevant policies and procedures of each Party engaged. o Parties agree reproduction shall adhere to trademarks, without alteration, used in a prudent manner and not used without prior written consent in each instance.
