Ayer finalizamos el cuarto día del Seminario Internacional de Liderazgo sobre Participación Ciudadana con el Instituto Reyes Heroles y el Instituto Nacional Electoral de México 🇲🇽. Estamos muy agradecidos con Ángel Rivero Palomo, un valioso miembro de nuestro Equipo de Liderazgo de Servicio por permitirnos tener el honor y el placer de educar a líderes políticos de diferentes ciudades y regiones de México. Yesterday we finished the fourth day of the International Leadership Seminar about Citizen Participation with the Instituto Reyes Heroles and the Instituto Nacional Electoral de Mexico 🇲🇽. We are so grateful to Angel Rivero Palomo, a valued member of our Servant Leadership Team for allowing us to have the honor and pleasure to educate political leaders from different cities and regions of Mexico. 🇺🇸 On Memorial Day, we pause to reflect and honor the men and women who sacrificed their lives for our opportunity of freedom. Military families, including mine, hold this day close to our hearts. I am grateful that my grandfather, father, uncle, and many cousins who defended our country over these past 100 years were able to return home. However, I have heard countless stories from my military family about soldiers and sailors who serviced side-by-side to whom they had deep connections with were unable to return home. Their death left a hole in their heart that will never be filled and will remain vacant until eternity. Therefore, we must remember that freedom is not free, and it is for this reason, we honor and recognize the importance of Memorial Day, 2021.
