Led by Professor Michael Marcus, this course blends weekly lectures with hands-on labs to bridge the gap between healthcare experience and data fluency. You’ll work with real-world healthcare datasets, learn to build impactful dashboards, and even explore how tools like Google Sheets and Gemini AI can streamline your analysis.

The PHIT4DC program, a groundbreaking initiative led by the University of the District of Columbia (UDC) and Howard University (HU), is hosting its annual PHIT4DC Career Fair on Thursday, April 24, 2025. This event offers healthcare-related employers in the Washington, DC area an unparalleled opportunity to connect with a diverse pool of highly trained professionals in public health informatics, pharmacy health information technologies, and data science.

Since its launch in 2021, PHIT4DC has been a catalyst for workforce development in public health informatics, equipping students with cutting-edge skills to address healthcare disparities and advance health equity.
