It is with great sadness that we share this news of the passing of our friend and colleague, Dr. Laura Bayless.

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Dr. Laura Bayless, whose impact on ACPA and the student affairs profession will be felt for generations.

For more than three decades, Laura exemplified scholarship, servant leadership, and an unwavering commitment to equity, mentoring countless professionals along the way. Earlier this year, ACPA was honored to recognize her with the Esther Lloyd Jones Professional Service Award in celebration of her extraordinary contributions to our association and the field.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Dr. Bayless's family, friends, colleagues, and all whose lives she touched. Her legacy will continue to inspire us.
