Polite Piggy's Day Camps Hi, my name is VanNessa Duckett! I am the owner and a caregiver at Polite Piggy’s Day Camp.

As one of Washington DC’s leading children’s day camp programs, we’re led by a specific set of principles and values that put the well-being of the children and families we serve first. I have been a classroom teacher for over 10 years and working with children for even longer! I opened Polite Piggy’s Day Camp to offer a high quality child care experience to families of small children. The younges

t ones are a very special population and I have dedicated a good piece of my career to understanding their needs both academically, physically, socially and emotionally. I have attained an administrative degree to understand the larger context of working with large groups of children, parents, the community and a full compliment of staff members.
