Joe and his colleagues looked for ways to keep students connected to our communities, our history, and each other when buildings closed in 2020. At the beginning of the pandemic, Kurt struggled to engage with his students. He enlisted the help of Mrs. Becky Lahetta and together they introduced new technology (an interactive camera) allowing him to create more active lessons.
Kurt engages his students through movement! Every day, he poses a question to his students, and their response requires them to participate in a gallery walk activity.
