Spoiler alert 🚨 there is no physical medal but I don’t care!! Y’all are probably like “I didn’t hear about any races in DC this weekend, especially not a relay” you know why??? Because thought up, designed the course and executed this race of 40ish miles across all 8 wards in DC and called it the “Chocolate City Relay”. She chose 4 other black woman, all from different run groups and different areas of the dmv to say “Hey ladies, let’s show them what Black Girl Magic is made of AND let’s do it In all 8 wards” and we all said YUP. Let’s do it.

My heart is still SO full from Saturday. We need to make this an annual thing and show them that Black women run. We run far we run long and we build each other up!
