Gardiner Band Washington, DC Trip

Another D.C. trip in the books! A big THANK YOU to our wonderful leader Mr. Walker, the parents who chaperoned, and most especially our GAHS Band Students. I say this with heartfelt meaning, I would take you students anywhere in the world. You received so many compliments on your performances and respectful behaviors! Rest well everyone. Mr. DeSoto will post more pictures tonight!

And that's a wrap for the Washington, DC trip. It is hard to believe that it is done! We had a great day at Busch Gardens yesterday and a good (but long) ride home.

Thank you to all of the great students and great chaperones who made it such a memorable and enjoyable trip! You all made me and the Gardiner community proud! This past week was filled with excellent performances by the concert band and jazz ensemble, visits to the majority of the breathtaking and historical landmarks down there, some great times and wonderful memories, and a bunch of great stories to share! As usual, one of the best parts of the trip were the people we didn't know down there who approached us to compliment the groups' performances and to compliment us on how polite and respectful all the students {and chaperones :) } were.
