✨FACULTY SPOTLIGHT✨
Our talented ballet instructor Sierra has been busy bee.

She’s been guest teaching at several dance studios in both her home state of PA and the company she dances professionally with in VA. As well as providing choreography for competitions and conventions.

She is also a guest judge for the Pennsylvania Bituminous Coal Queen Pageant in Greene County, PA, where the winner will be introduced to the House and Senate in Harrisburg. Additionally, she has been asked to judge the All Out Dance Competition🤩

We are so proud to have Sierra at CSDA! We love to hear what our faculty is up to and share with you guys too. 🥰

Congratulations to Candace Sheppard our director and owner on her daughter’s completion of her summer study’s at The Royal Danish Ballet Women’s Elite Summer Programme. Reagan studied for 12 yrs under Candace’s tutelage. Since returning home to perform in D.C and join the faculty at CSDA, Reagan continues to receive her mother’s mentorship at CSDA. Pictured in the CSDA studios are the two together after one of many training/filming days💜 We are so blessed to have dance in our lives to fill our hearts with so much joy and create so many special memories.

The perfect blend of athleticism and artistry💪🎭 So great to see the individuality of each character and dancer on the stage. Each student was assigned a character and embraced it and made it their own! We love to see their personalities shining through. Acting, dancing, spatial awareness, quick changes, musicality, story-telling, technique, and passion, this piece had it all-awarding them the “Judge’s Choice for Entertainment”, well deserved.
